The Farm Employment Exchange Pilot Project is a Government grant initiative that aims to assist drought-affected farmers through the creation of a connection and employment exchange interface. The project is being managed and administered by the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF).
It is a pilot project that aims to facilitate connections between farmers looking for additional work due to drought, and potential employers.
The pilot project is designed to assist areas affected by drought and dry conditions across Victoria with a specific focus on:
- Wellington and East Gippsland shires
- The Far North West corner of Victoria (generally known as the Millewa)
- The Goulburn Murray Irrigation District
The Farm Employment Exchange pilot project will be running until 30 June 2020
